Studies have show that when doulas attend a birth, labors are shorter with fewer complications, and babies are healthier and they breastfeed more easily.
Whether you have chosen medicated or unmedicated birth, breast or bottle feeding, my goal is to be your strongest supporter and help you have the best birth experience possible!
SERVICES INCLUDE:

Phone, Text and Email Availability - From the date of hire, I am here to support you, addressing any questions or concerns during your pregnancy, labor, birth and shortly after birth

2 Prenatal Visits - In-Home appointments to discuss pregnancy and birth, expectations, fears or any other specifics. Overview of childbirth education, labor and birth day planning as well as labor positions and comfort measures

Birth Plan Assistance - Guidance creating your personalized birth plan

Support in the Birth Setting - Allowing you to focus on you and your baby during birth

Emotional and Physical Support During Labor - I will support you during your birth experience using various comfort measures, coaching and instruction, ensuring a calm labor environment.

Partner and Family Support During Labor - Helping meet the needs of your partner and/or family, enabling them to better support you

Follow Up Postpartum Visit - Once you and your baby have had a chance to settle in, I will follow up with 1 visit to answer any breastfeeding and postpartum questions and process your birth experience.
Additional Services

Additional Prenatal Appointments: $50 / hour

An opportunity to discuss your pregnancy; excitements, fears or any other specifics prior to the birth. This may be at your home, another private location, a visit with your OB/Midwife, accompaniment to childbirth education or breastfeeding class, etc.
